The DataProtect network specializes in personal data protection law and deals exclusively with the issue of business compliance with the new protective framework of the European Union, as it is shaped by the latest amendments introduced by Regulation 2016/679.

THE TEAM
Dr. Victor Tsilonis
Dr. Viktor Tsilonis is a lawyer before the Supreme Court and the International Criminal Court, PhD in Criminal Law from the AUTH and holder of a Master's Degree from the University of Nottingham. He specializes in Personal Data Protection and has received certification from the University of Groningen on to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 679/2016. He is co-founder of the law firm NEWLAW and designer of its pioneering online platform, in the context of which Privacy Policies were implemented for the first time for online Legal Services (e-shop type) in Greece. He is one of the first to have taught seminars on the subject of personal data and has written several articles on the Data Protection Regulation 679/2016 on the websites Newlaw.gr and Dataprotect.gr.
Avgi Voyatzoglou, MSc
Avgi Vogiatzoglou is an Appellate Lawyer, a graduate of the School of Law of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and holder of a Master's Degree in Voluntary Activities Management from the University of Roehampton. She is the co-founder of the law firm NEWLAW, with many years of experience in practice law, administration and organization of legal entities. In recent years, she has been actively dealing with the subject of personal data in the context of non-governmental organizations and non-profit companies (eg TedX Thessaloniki), specializing in the personal data of minors.
Ioannis Zisimatos, MBA
Ioannis Zisimatos is a Business Consultant and Executive Trainer, a graduate of the Athens University of Economics and Business, an MBA holder and a graduate of the "ManageMentor" program. He holds a Class A license and a Certificate in IFRS, while in 2006 he founded Zisimatos Management & Seminars. He has served as INSETE's Professional Counseling consultant and OEMMEX thematic consultant, while he is a certified lecturer of educational seminars. He has designed effective Management Systems, prepared Personnel Evaluation and Management Systems studies and carried out Business Studies, Process Automation Project, Financial & Commercial Studies, as well as Reorganization projects of all Business Operations. Finally, he has written dozens of educational manuals.
Socrates X. Charalambous
Sokratis Charalambous is an Athens lawyer at the Supreme Court and State Councils. He maintains a law office based in Piraeus from the year 2007 until today, active in the areas of Commercial, Civil and Criminal Law. In recent years, he has been intensively dealing with the Law of Personal Data and the Law of Consumer Protection, both on a consulting and a judicial level. It cooperates with the DataProtect.gr network in compliance programs for companies, organizations and enterprises with the General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data 2016/679.
Anastasios Dioudis holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from New York College and in his career has worked in various business functions such as Logistics, Sales, Financial Management. He is a certified ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems Inspector from TUV and additionally holds the status of GDPR - DPO Executive. Finally, as a Business Consultant, he has participated in a Business Reorganization Project (BPR) and in the evaluation / submission of NSRF investment programs.
